Welcome to Injune Caravan Park, a great place to stay while exploring
our quiet country town of about 500 people. Injune is located in
the foothills of the Carnarvon Ranges about 570km from Brisbane, and is the
southern gateway to
Carnarvon National Park. It is an excellent place to use as a base
for exploring the national parks in the region such as the Lonesome and
Beilba sections of Expedition National Park, Nuga Nuga National Park, and of course Carnarvon Gorge and Mt Moffatt, both
sections of
Carnarvon National Park.
Injune Caravan Park has recently been refurbished and upgraded and has 57
powered sites with new power heads, plenty of drive-through sites, 5 air
conditioned standard cabins, and many unpowered sites. It boasts a
large newly constructed camp kitchen/BBQ area, modern clean amenities including
disabled toilet and shower facilities, and a large laundry with washing machines
and dryers.
The caravan park adjoins Injune Lagoon located at the back of the park, and has a
walking track around it for you to exercise, explore nature, or just
a leisurely stroll to look at the local wildlife.
